1. What we collect
We collect contact, booking, billing/delivery and acceptance records, payment/hold references and limited verification results/metadata. Didit processes ID, selfie/liveness and address submissions; Stripe processes payments. Raw ID images and full card numbers are not stored in the application database. This does not mean providers hold no documents or biometric data.
2. How we use it
To process bookings, arrange fulfilment, provide support, send booking-related messages, and meet legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We share data with service providers needed to run bookings, including Didit for verification, Stripe for card payments, Convex for application records and Vercel for hosting, or where required by law. We do not sell your data.
4. Your rights
Subject to applicable legal conditions you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability and object to relevant processing. Contact dbcinemarentals@gmail.com or your account conversation. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Erasure is subject to lawful retention duties; automatic deletion of every rental record is not promised.
4A. Rental account
A paid website rental is linked to an account for the booking email. If needed, an account is created automatically without enrolling you in marketing. A private one-time email sign-in link proves ownership before giving access to the rental conversation and account benefits. Existing passwords and Google access remain intact. Do not share sign-in links.
5. Retention
We keep booking records only as long as necessary for legal and accounting purposes.
